We have already covered the topic of agreement of the adjectives in Frech. And, as you might have noticed, there are quite a few exceptions that make this topic a little complicated. Let's take a look at a certain group of them - three adjectives that have different endings when used in different genders and numbers.

Beau, Vieux, Nouveau

Rule 1: The adjectives beau (beautiful), vieux (old), and nouveau (new) are irregular. They have two masculine forms in the singular form:

Rule 2: The masculine singular forms change before a silent h and vowels:

Rule 4: The masculine plural forms end in -x:
